Terms and conditions

What you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Short, because nobody reads a long list and then nobody knows where they stand.

Last updated on 30 August 2026

This English text is a translation for convenience. If it differs from the Dutch text, the Dutch text prevails.

01What this is about

These terms apply to the use of PRODUCTRA by a brand, a supplier or a factory. They are about the service, not about the products you document with it.

02What the service does

We read your product data, turn it into a product passport and put it live behind a QR code as soon as you choose to. For every value we keep who filled it in, with a date.
We do not check whether a document is true. We show who issued it and when. What you put on the passport stays your responsibility.

03What it costs

You pay a subscription per month and a price per new product you publish. Both depend on the number of new products you publish per year, and the amounts are in the proposal you receive from us. Keeping a passport live, orders, sizes and corrections cost nothing extra. All amounts exclude VAT. To find out what it comes to for your collection, get in touch.
Contributing to someone else’s product is free. An organisation you invite to a product pays nothing, however many products of however many brands they complete.
A new product is a style-colour. Sizes, batches, repeat orders and corrections do not count as a new product. You cancel monthly and there is no notice period.

04Whose the data is

Your product data stays yours. We use it to deliver the service and for nothing else. If you stop, you get an export and we delete the rest.
What a supplier or factory provides stays with that supplier or factory. They decide themselves which brand sees it and can withdraw that at any time.

05What you vouch for

That you may provide what you provide, and that the documents you upload are yours or your supplier’s. We show what you give us.
That the claims on your passport match reality. We make visible what a claim rests on, but responsibility for what you assert about your product stays with you. That is also what the legislator asks of you.

06Availability

We aim for an availability of 99.5 percent per month, measured across the public passports. We announce maintenance at least two working days in advance and schedule it outside office hours.
If the service is down longer than that, you are not invoiced for that month. You do not have to ask for it.

07Liability

We are liable up to the amount you paid in the twelve months before. For damage caused by intent or gross negligence on our side, that limit does not apply.

08If you want to stop

Cancel in your environment and your subscription runs until the end of the current month. Your passports then go offline and the QR codes point to a page that says the passport has been withdrawn. That way a buyer knows the code was right and the page is gone.

09Which law applies

Dutch law. If we cannot resolve it together, it goes to the court in Rotterdam, where Digilution is based.

10What this does not apply to yet

This environment is a prototype. There is no server running: what you enter stays in your own browser. The agreements above apply once the service runs in production, and not to what you do on this site now.
